Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear on my Newfoundland Boat tour?
The weather can be as unpredictable as the day itself, so when in Newfoundland and out on the water it’s best to remain well-prepared. Pack a cozy sweater and an all-weather rain jacket; even if it appears sunny outside, bringing along extra layers of clothing is worth its weight in gold.
In addition to the suggested sweater and rain jacket, it may be wise to bring a pair of comfortable shoes that provide good traction, as you may need to climb in and out of the boat.
What type of boat will I be using on the tour?
When taking a boat tour with Ever Outdoor, you will be riding in a 12-man Zodiac name Elmastukwek.
Is a life jacket required for the tour?
Absolutely! We require every passenger to wear a lifejacket for each boat tour, but these are provided by us.
Are there any age or weight restrictions for participating in the tour?
Our activity is open to all ages and sizes; however, participants must be comfortable navigating uneven ground and entering/exiting a rocking boat.
Is it possible to book a private tour with Everoutdoor Adventures?
We do provide private charters and they are available for booking right on the website.
How will I know if the weather is bad enough that the tour has to be cancelled?
Should unfavourable weather conditions arise, we will be in touch with you immediately to discuss any possible cancellations.
Will food and drinks be provided during my Newfoundland Boat Tour?
Refreshments are not included, but you can purchase food and drinks from The Saltbox Restaurant.
