The Views are Worth the Climb

The majestic Blow Me Down Mountains are visible from almost everywhere in the Bay of Islands. You can stand on the side of a road and capture a great photo. The question is: Why would you want to?

Join us for a guided hike, and the adventure of a lifetime. This four-to-five hour looped hike ascends 650 metres to the top of the Blow Me Down Mountains. Climb through the clouds for a 360-degree view of the entire Bay of Islands on a clear day, the North Arm Hills, and Corner Brook. Explore a unique and rugged landscape, valleys carved by glaciers, plants and vegetation that thrive in this unique environment. Bring your camera to capture stunning photos of the Outer Bay of Islands.

Learn how Weeball, Big Island, Governor’s Island, and French Island got their names.

The Blow Me Down Mountains are vast, the terrain is wild, and trails are not always marked. A knowledgeable guide will ensure your hike is well planned, and your experience is one you will never forget.
