Blow Me Down Traverse

Welcome to our Home

This expedition leads to one of our favourite places. We believe there is no better way to spend a few days than hiking, exploring, swimming in natural water holes, and relaxing next to pristine waterfalls. And let’s not forget sleeping under the stars.

This two to three-day, 29-kilometre, guided trek is perfect for the experienced, adventurous hiker.

We respect the ancient Blow Me Down Mountains. The views are stunning. Take this journey to find glacial valleys, and cascading waterfalls. Grassy banks are perfect for camping, and we all know food tastes better when eaten outdoors.

Hike towards Blow Me Down Brook Gulch, and its spectacular waterfall. Check for berries along the path. Our guides will tell you what is in season and what to look for. Cool off in a natural swimming hole. Keep an eye out for Rattlin’ Brook Falls. Stand on the summit of Blow Me Down peak. The views are outstanding.

Tired after a well-trekked day? Look out over the Bay of Islands and watch the sun drop below the horizon in a blaze of pink, red, and orange. Trust us when we say there is nothing like a Bay of Islands sunset.

The Blow Me Down Mountains are vast, the terrain is wild, and trails are not always marked. A knowledgeable guide will ensure your hike is well planned, and your experience is one you will never forget.

Guided group hikes with outdoor enthusiasts are a great way to experience the Blow Me Down Mountains. Our professional guides are trained in wilderness first aid. We respect the environment and love nature as much as you do.
